<p>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~</p><p>Retired Sgt. - Brockville Police Department</p><p><br></p><p>Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Friday, June 26, 2020, at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of the late Cheryl (Jewett) Bowerman who predeceased him January 10, 2020. Cherished father of the late Amber Francis, Terry Bowerman Jr. (Angela) and Nita Bowerman; and stepfather to William Buell and Lindsay Craig-Pettem (Brad). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Amber-Jane, Jaiden, Zachary, Benjamin and Ellie. Dear brother of Janice Empey and John Bowerman (Dan). Also survived by his sisters-in-law Nancy and Shirley Bowerman; by his son-in-law David Francis as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Brian and Larry and by his parents Madeleine and Oren Bowerman.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm.</p><p><br></p><p>NOTE: Social distancing and Covid-19 protocols will be in place including the wearing of masks for those planning to attend. </p><p><br></p><p>A private family graveside service will be held at the Oakland Cemetery, at a later date. </p><p><br></p><p>As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged. </p><p><br></p><p>Please take a moment to send a message of condolence to the family or share a special thought of Terry on the Memory Wall above.
