Sarah Lee Partin, age 71, Harrogate, TN passed away suddenly and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 29, 2017. She was born November 9, 1945 in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of the late Ruth Carmack. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Harley Wayne Partin; her mother, Ruth Carmack; her sister, Sue Farrell; and her brother, James Rains. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who took pride in her family. Her passing has left a void that cannot be filled. Her family has great hope in Christ that we will be reunited with her again one day. She is survived by her two sons: Steven Partin with his wife, Bonnie and George Partin, both of Harrogate, TN; grandchildren: Lauren and husband, Matt Leach, Emily and husband, Jonathon Tuttle, Carlee Partin and C. J. Partin; great grandchildren: Harper and Tobias Leach; and special niece whom she loved very much, Alice Stevens. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Burdette and Rev. Gary Kidwell officiating. Music will be provided by Eddie Adkins. Pallbearers will be C.J. Partin, Jonathon Tuttle, Matt Leach, Terry Baker, Bill Howard and Larry Stevens. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Mayes, George Vantuyle, Gary Baker and J.T. Partin. Interment will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2017 and 12-2 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
