<p style="text-align: justify;">Richard Richards, of Dawson, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson at the age of 74.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Granite Falls with a service starting at 3:30 PM and lunch to follow.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Arrangements are with Hanson & Dahl and Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Richard Wilbur Richards was born September 7, 1945 In Cresbard, SD to Wilbur and Phyllis (Steiner) Richards. He was baptized and confirmed into the Methodist faith. Richard attended and graduated from Belgrade High School, and after high school joined the United States National Guard. He was united in marriage to Lula Mccall on March 8, 1974 in Watertown, SD. Together they had five children.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Richard worked for Viessman trucking for 35 years where he spent many hours on the road. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, and play cards. Richard will be missed dearly by his family and close friends.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">He is survived by his wife Lula; sons, Mike (Wendy) Richards, of Montevideo, MN, Shannon (Missy) Richards, of Red Wing, MN, Robert (Sara) Richards, of Montevideo, MN, Cory (Jessica McDougal) Richards, of Clara City, MN, and Rick (Erin) Olson, of Winter Haven, FL; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Duane (Ida) Richards, of Farmington, MN; and sisters, Gloria Esteban, of Watertown, MN and Janet Brown, of Watertown, MN</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Phyllis.</p>Obituary
