Raymond Roy Sawdy Obituary

Raymond R. Sawdy was born on October 2, 1949 in Dillon, MT. He passed away to be with our Lord on June 14, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at the Morning Star Baptist Church in Alpine, WY on Friday June 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Please join us for food and fellowship at the church following the service.

Ray was a Vietnam Veteran who served our country from January 1967 to January 1973.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman that enjoyed the great outdoors with his family and various friends loving camping and cooking great food.

He worked for the National Park Service from 1988 at Grand Teton NP, retiring from Badlands National Park in 2012.

Ray is survived by his wife Barbara Sawdy, his daughter Tammy (Chet) Hampton, his sons Kenton Sawdy and Kip Sawdy, step daughter Tammy Ashton, step sons Montie Clutter, Jeffrey Clutter (Diana), 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren, and various other family members

He was preceded in death by his Mother Blanche Scott, Father Earl Sawdy and Sister Adelle Turow.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project
