Terry “Neil” Thompson, of Chipley, Florida passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020. He was 50 years old. Neil was born April 3, 1970 in Panama City, Florida. He attended Bay High School, where he played JV football. He loved hunting, fishing, mud bogging, and anything on the water. He was employed as a crew boat engineer at Gulf Logistics. Neil was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Grace Thompson. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Kaitlyn Nichole Davis and spouse, Jason; son, Austin Swayde Thompson; grandson, Jarret Davis; parents, Linda Holeyfield Bennett and Terry Lee Thompson; sister, Truly Thompson; brother, John Thompson; aunts, Lynn Jackson, Cheryl Johnson, Janice Bastian, Judy Foster, Jackie Holeyfield; half siblings, Heavyn and Jayden Thompson; uncles, Chuck Thompson, Donnie Thompson, James Holeyfield, and Joe Holeyfield; nieces, River and Esmee Robertson, Ashley Moran, and Jessica Quinn; friends, Captain Mike Daniels, Austin Thomas, and Kenny Hogle; and pet, Sugar. A Celebration of Neil’s Life will be held from 12:00 to 6:00 P.M., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Frank Nelson Park, 4105 W. 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32405.
