<p>Mr. Alphonso Keels, son&nbsp;ofthe Late&nbsp;Samuel&nbsp;Keels Sr. and Surviving Mrs. Alice McClean Keels,&nbsp;was born on&nbsp;December&nbsp;29, 1949&nbsp;in Baltimore, North Carolina. After a recent illness, he was called from labor to reward&nbsp;on&nbsp;Saturday June 6, 2020.</p> <p>Alphonso loved listening to music and playing cards, checkers and chess. He could always be found watching his favorite TV shows Star Trek and Mash.</p> <p>Alphonso lived in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended Patapsco Elementary School, Cherry Hill Junior&nbsp;High&nbsp;School and graduated as the class valedictorian from Baltimore City College in&nbsp;1968. He&nbsp;served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1971. He served as a reservist until&nbsp;1976.&nbsp;He worked many jobs and his last and favorite being the Coca Cola&nbsp;Company.</p> <p>Alphonso did not have any children&nbsp;ofhis own. He was loved by all&nbsp;of his nieces, nephews and all the neighborhood kids. Alphonso met his best friend and girlfriend Karen Terry in 2002 and they remained in love until his home-going.</p> <p>Alphonso was a very intelligent man. He would always challenge all the young people in his life with mathematics problem.&nbsp;of&nbsp;strength and character. He was employed as a HVAC Technician at Toe Time Group until his illness. Before his employment at The Time Group, he was&nbsp;employed at Foxwell Memorial Garden for sixteen years. He was a great provider for his family.</p> <p>He leaves to cherish his memory; his girlfriend&nbsp;of&nbsp;eighteen years, Karen; his siblings, Theresa Gwynn, Charles Keels, Michele Keels-York and Penelope Keels-Chewning; his sister Sarrie Keels, brothers Samuel Keels Jr. and Anthony Keels preceded him in death; four nieces- Sharon, Tia, Darcell and Erica; nine nephews- Andre, Gary, Authur, Darod, Mark, Tavon, Michael, Blair and Marcus; his stepchildren and a host&nbsp;of&nbsp;other relatives and friends.</p>
