Dale Edward Pope

Dale Edward Pope, 70, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 in Alma, AR. He was a retired Director of Arkansas Valley Electric Co-op, a retired building contractor and of the Christian Faith. He was a hard worker and loved fishing and being on the water. He was born April 12, 1950 in Mulberry, AR to the late Gerald and Aline (Osburn) Pope. He was also preceded in death by brothers, David and Gary Pope. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page, Ocker-Putman Funeral Homes. Survivors include his two daughters, Belinda Hutchinson of Alma and Stephanie Little of Fayetteville; Grandchildren, Madison Efurd, Mariah Efurd and Levi Hayes; sister, Joyce Dahlem of Alma; brothers, Ron Pope of Alma and Mike Pope of Fort Smith and numerous Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Pallbearers will be Gary O’Kelley, Caleb Beshears, Casey Beshears, Randy Edwards, Will Pope and Mike Washburn. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
