Homer "Tony" Anthony Benton
<p><strong>Homer Anthony “Tony” Benton, 61, of Bladenboro, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents: Homer Lee and Irene Benton. Tony leaves behind two sisters: Annis Dove and husband Franklin of Charlotte, Alta Jane Freeman of Wilmington; three nephews: Rodney Dove of Matthews, Bradley Dove of Fort Mill, SC, David Freeman of Wilmington; one niece, Cheryl Boswell of Hampstead and nine cousins.</strong></p> <p><strong>Tony was a generous man who loved his family, especially his nephews and niece, and his fur baby, Quchie. He enjoyed the hobbies of hunting and fishing. Tony’s big compassionate heart will be missed by all.</strong></p> <p><strong>A private graveside will be held at a later time.</strong></p>Obituary
