Penny A. Minkler O’Neal, 48, of reserve passed away June 6, 2020 at her home.

A Funeral Service for Penny will be at 11 am on Monday, June 15, 2020 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Reserve, NM.  Concluding service and burial will follow at the Reserve Cemetery.  Officiating will be Pastor Charles Lord.  Serving as pallbearers will be Kent Roy O’Neal, Harley O’Neal, David Silva, Kayden Marshall, C.J. Marshall, and Chad Milligan.

Penny was born January 20, 1972 in Silver City, NM to Roy and Esther Guerra Minkler.  She attended Reserve High School where she was a cheerleader, was a basketball player and a member of the Track team.  Aside from sports, Penny had a very strong interest in Mathematics.  Penny loved spending time reading and when she wasn’t reading, she enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting for arrowheads, or anything that involved her family.  Penny will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Penny is survived by her husband, Kennith Ralph O’Neal; sons, Kent Roy O’Neal, Harley Edward O’Neal; daughters, Cassandra Schubel; daughter in law, Azriel Danae O’Neal; mother, Esther Minkler; brother, David Silva; sister, Patrisha Marshall; sister-in-law, Andrea Silva; nephews, Kayden Marshall, CJ Marshall, Eric Tafoya; nieces, Solana Silva and Davianna Silva.  She was preceded in death by Roy Minkler, Harley O’Neal, Anne Guerra, Nora Mae O’Neal, Harlan Chance O’Neal, Olavo Silva, Placido Guerra, Richard Guerra, and Patsy Guerra.
