Frances G. "Nancy" McDonough
Frances G. "Nancy" McDonough, 74, of Post Road, Warwick passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020. She was born in Providence on September 3, 1945, a daughter of the late Michael L. and Frances G. (Byrne) McDonough. Nancy was a manager with Verizon for over thirty years but her proudest achievement in life was as a volunteer for CASA (R.I. Court Appointed Special Advocates Program) and also in becoming a recipient in 2002 of the VCRI Award from the State of Rhode Island Governor's Office. She is survived by her lifetime friend and companion, Mary E. Pratte of Warwick and several nieces and nephews, Sandra J. Parrillo, Sheila J. Scarramuzzi, Richard M. Barton, Nanci Lee A. Lipke, Eileen P. Balley, Kristen A. Abbruzzi and F. James Pickett. She was the sister of the late Eileen P. Glaser, Lois M. Barton, Virginia A. Pickett, and Michael L. McDonough and aunt of the late Thomas N. Glaser and Robert A. Barton. Her funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Friday, June 10, 2020 at 10 am in the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick. Social distancing will be observed. Burial will be private.
