Matthew Isaac Moore, 39, of Hixson, went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 6th, 2020. He was born on December 8th, 1980 in Chattanooga, to (the late) Dennis Eugene Moore Sr. of Hixson and mother, Tina Moore of Red Bank. He was dedicated and loved his work as an independent contractor for Lowes for over 20 years. He enjoyed working on cars including rebuilding and restoring muscle cars and anything with an engine. He liked riding his motorcycle to the Trail of the Dragon and country backroads, the faster and windier the better. He was a dedicated father that enjoyed spending time with his family and treasured sharing his passion of four-wheelers and teaching his son about sports and the love of outdoor activities. He is survived by his wife, April Moore, son, Dexter Moore, mother, Tina Moore, brother, Timothy Moore and niece, Destiny Moore. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. and Friday June 12, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home.
