William Dulaney
William Lawrence “Billy” Dulaney, 64, of Roanoke, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 6, 2020. He was born in Roanoke on October 5, 1955 to the late William L. and Wahnetta Persinger Dulaney. Billy graduated from William Fleming High School. He spent time working as a forklift operator at Cooper Crouse-Hinds. William enjoyed fishing, football and playing pool. He loved to bet on the horse races and gambling. He would often ask for you to "pick a number" and help him place his next bet. Billy is survived by his four children and five grandchildren. Daughter, Carly Mottesheard and her children, Makayla and Patrick; Daughter, Sarah Vogler and her children, Caleb and Austin; His son, Benjamin Mottesheard; and his daughter, Kristen Dulaney (Collin Gravely) and child, Jaxon. Billy will also be sorely missed by his faithful Labrador Retriever companion, Gage "Bubby”. Services will be private.October 5, 1955 - June 6, 202010/05/195506/06/2020
