McKay, Donald M., 91, of Smithfield, died on June 6, 2020 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center.  He was the husband of Shirley (Fox) McKay.

Born in Smithfield, he was a son of the late Archie and Rosalind (Bergantine) McKay.

Donald had worked at Worcester Textile, Esmond Mill, and was a bus monitor for the Town of Smithfield.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Donald McKay and his wife Jackie of Smithfield, his daughter, Kim McKay of Connecticut, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.  He was the brother of the late Harold MacKay.

Burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery will be private.
