<p>McKay, Donald M., 91, of Smithfield, died on June 6, 2020 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of Shirley (Fox) McKay.</p> <p>Born in Smithfield, he was a son of the late Archie and Rosalind (Bergantine) McKay.</p> <p>Donald had worked at Worcester Textile, Esmond Mill, and was a bus monitor for the Town of Smithfield.</p> <p>Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Donald McKay and his wife Jackie of Smithfield, his daughter, Kim McKay of Connecticut, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Harold MacKay.</p> <p>Burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery will be private.</p>Obituary
