Judy Ann Hood
<p><strong>Judy Ann Ward Hood, 73, of Clarkton passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020. Mrs. Hood was born on February 24, 1947 to the late Marshall Hayes and Nora Mae Hall Ward. She is preceded in death by her husband Otis Hood and brother, Marshall Howard Ward.</strong></p> <p><strong>She is survived by her son, Julian Ray Benson Jr. (Margaret Ann) of Whiteville; three daughters, Annette Bryan (David) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Tammy Todd (Jerome) of Dillon, SC; Donna Chambers (T.J.) of Tabor City; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.</strong></p> <p><strong>Judy was an outgoing loving lady. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the Christmas gatherings. Judy enjoyed taking care of others at the nursing home and attending the activity center to play Bingo or any other event that was taking place. Her other enjoyments were shopping, sewing and coloring. A compassionate and generous soul that will eternally be missed.</strong></p> <p><strong>The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Bladen-Gaskins from 11:00-12:00 with the funeral services following at 12:00 with Rev. Richard Priest officiating. Burial will follow in the Hood Family Cemetery. </strong></p>Obituary
