Joan Marie (Seacat) Byrum, age 86, passed away peacefully, June 5, 2020, she was born April 26, 1934 at Milltown, Indiana to the late Matthew and Maude Rawlings Seacat. Joan was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Corydon, IN. Joan loved her family and having them all together. She was an avid IU basketball fan and loved playing the piano and singing, also enjoyed watching her birds from her window. Joan loved playing cards and going on trips with her family and friends and really enjoyed painting pumpkins and gourds at Churchill’s Farm in the fall. Also, preceding her in death was her husband, Rev. Gordon L. Byrum, her 8 siblings and a great granddaughter, Macie Conrad Vick. She is survived by daughters, Suzan (Dale) Printz, Cindy (Jerry) Conrad, Vicky (Harold) Matlock and a son, Stan (Judy) Byrum. Also 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Funeral 3 PM Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, IN with burial in Milltown Cemetery. Visitation 1 to 3 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
