Richard A. Ziegler, 75, a lifelong resident of Clifton, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 3, 2020. He graduated Clifton High School in 1963 and Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1968 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Public Service Electric and Gas Co., Newark and Salem, NJ, until his retirement in 1997. Richard loved to work on engines; there wasnt anything he couldnt fix. He loved to read, go fishing and camping with his son. He is survived by his wife Eileen, son Richard and wife Jessica, and granddaughter Kiara. He is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Margaret (Seel) Ziegler, and daughter Rebecca. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 7th, 2020 from 2:00-4:00PM at the Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Road, Clifton, NJ 07012. Burial will be held privately.
