<p>Mary Teresa BIllington, 88, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at her home.</p> <p>Mrs. Billington, the daughter of the late Edward and Ameria Koehler, was born June 7, 1931 in St. Louis, MO.&nbsp; She was one of eight children.&nbsp; On May 19, 1948, she married Harry Billington in Piggott, Arkansas.&nbsp; They were happily married for 67 years until his passing in 2015.&nbsp; Together they built a family of seven children, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. &nbsp;She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was well known by her family and friends for her cooking.&nbsp; She enjoyed reading but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.&nbsp; She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and an active member of St. Anne&rsquo;s Alter Society.</p> <p>Mrs. Billington has six surviving children:&nbsp; Kathleen Clubb, Linda Smith, Debora Rayburn, Harry Atlee (Skip) BIllington, Jr., Eric Billington, and Rebecca Deering. She is also survived by a grandson she helped raise, Tony Greer, and held a close relationship with her daughter-in-law Donna Billington, and her son-in-law, Dan Deering.</p> <p>Mrs. Billington was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Billington, Sr., her son, Robert Billington, a grandchild, Amelia Baker and a great-grandchild, Lakota &ldquo;Codie&rdquo; Eldridge.&nbsp;</p> <p>A private graveside service will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery on Friday, June 5, 2020. Deacon David Farris will serve as Celebrant.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude&rsquo;s Children&rsquo;s Hospital in her memory.</p> <p>Cotrell Funeral Service is honored to serve the family of Mary Theresa Billington.</p>
