Edward Jay Burch, 74, of Biggers, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, June 3,
2020. Edward was born on September 30, 1945, in Poynor, Missouri, to Ira Jay
and Ada Niswonger Burch.
Edward was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, neighbor,
and friend. He was of the Baptist faith.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Burch; three sisters,
Mary Stoneburger, Edna Kay Burch, and Marie Welch.
Edward is survived by his wife, Karen Evans Burch, of the home; daughter,
Shauntae (Stanley) Turner, of Supply; two grandchildren, Colton and Landen;
brothers, Junior (Toni) Burch, of Current View, Missouri, Gene (Nikki) Burch, of
Arizona, and Tom Burch, of Doniphan; sisters, Betty (Bob) Shonk, of Doniphan,
Missouri, Dean Brooks, of Texas, Francis (Dale) Pringle, of Current View,
Missouri, and Wanda Moore, of Doniphan; sister-in-law, Carol Burch, of Indiana;
and his very special friend, Dale Pringle.
All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in
Pocahontas, Arkansas, on Friday, June 5, 2020. Visitation will be from 10:00 am –
12:00 pm. Edward’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 12:00
noon. Burial will be in the Pope Chapel Cemetery, in Current View, Missouri.
Edward’s nephews are honored to serve as pallbearers.
