Theresa Joan Harrison of Denton, Texas passed away on June 1, 2020 at a Plano, Texas hospital.  She was 72. She was born May 3, 1948 in DeKalb, Texas to Otis James (Don) and Barbara Powell Harrison.  She was a resident of the Denton State Supported Living Center.  We give special thanks to the staff and volunteers who cared deeply for Theresa.    She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gary Don Harrison. She is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Connie and Chuck Henslee of Huntsville, Arkansas.  and Janice Yates of DeKalb, Texas;  two nieces; Candi and Brent Owens of Huntsville, Arkansas  and Tammie  and Lee Erwin of Texarkana, Arkansas, two nephews; Dusty and Ashley Barrett of Berryville, Arkansas and Shane  and Candace Yates of DeKalb, Texas; and two step-nephews;  Leslie Henslee and Dusty and Laney Henslee of New Boston, Texas  and numerous other family members and friends. Private graveside services will be under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas.
