Irma Dean Girtman, 82, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away May 31, 2020, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on April 12, 1938, in Carryville, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Troy and Edith (Wright) Graddy. Irma was united in marriage to Billy John Girtman on July 23, 1955. She was preceded in death by her father, Troy Graddy; mother, Edith Graddy; husband, Billy John Girtman; son, Billy John Girtman, Jr.; and grandson, John Girtman. Irma was a member of South Thornton Church of Christ. She enjoyed hosting family dinners at her home and everyone enjoyed her cooking. Survivors include her son, Troy Lynn Girtman and wife Connie of Mount Orb, Ohio; daughter, Lisa Mullins and husband Bob of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jennifer Robertson and husband Justin of Brookland, Arkansas, Bryan Manning and wife Mallory of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Stacy Girtman of Erlanger, Kentucky, Kourtney Smith of Brookland, Arkansas, Elyssa Girtman of Mount Orb, Ohio, and Caleb Girtman of Mount Orb, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Kaylee, Brody, Siddalee, Colette, Makayla, Katie, August, Carolyne, and River; brother, Ronnie Graddy and wife Belinda of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Paul McFadden officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Children's Home in Paragould, Arkansas, Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas or the NEA Food Bank in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
