Obituary of Cynthia Scarborough Cynthia Leaves to mourn her departure, her mother Deacon Amelia Scarborough, her two children Naeem Scarborough & Fradsha Scarborough-Taylor, three sisters: Lelia Scarborough of Atlanta, Georgia; Stacey and Sandy Scarborough of New York. She also leaves to mourn her three grandchildren, Tiana, Carolynn & Caseem, two uncles: Jerriadore Mack of South Carolina, George Scarborough of North Carolina, two aunts Christine Mack of South Carolina and Lizzy Scarborough also of South Carolina. Three nephews: Walik, Dion and Khari, two nieces Iasia and Isis and a host of other family members and friends. Humbly and sorrow-fully Cynthia departed the family and love ones on May 14, 2020. Cynthia Scarborough was the daughter of Robert & Amelia Scarborough; she was born in Eliot, South Carolina. Cynthia migrated with her parents to New York City at an early age and received her education in New York, first at P.S. 90, and Brandeis High School. She joined the Metropolitan Baptist Church at an early age and was baptized by Pastor Connie Stamps, and served as a junior usher. Cynthia worked for the Police Department for over thirty years and received a 20-year an award for her dedication. Cynthia as those who knew her loved to laugh and have fun, she was also loved and known by many in the neighborhood.
