Cheraw, SC

 

Mr. William “Willie” F. Wallace, age 49, entered into rest on Saturday, May 30, 2020. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Brock’s Mill Baptist Church by Rev. Danny Malloy, Rev. David Wilkes, and Rev. Dennis Wallace with the committal service to follow in the church cemetery officiated by Rev. Dr. Steve West.

 

The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Tuesday, prior to the service at the church.

 

For those who are unable to attend, friends may stop by Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home on Tuesday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM to pay their respects.

 

Mr. Wallace was born August 24, 1970 in Chesterfield, SC a son of Margie “Pete” Parker Wallace and the late Willie Wallace. He was a 1988 graduate of Chesterfield High School and was employed with Domtar as an Information Technology Manager. Mr. Wallace was a member of Brock's Mill Baptist Church. A true sports enthusiast, Willie was an avid Clemson Tiger and Miami Dolphins fan. He also enjoyed playing golf, watching college football and baseball, and spending time exercising and working out. Willie enjoyed his job, as well as spending time with his work family at Domtar. Most of all, he loved to spend with his loving family and his feline fur baby, "Duke."

         

In addition to his father, Willie was preceded in death by his sister, Penny Wallace.

 

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sharon F. Wallace of the home; daughter, Brianna Wallace of the home/Clemson, SC; mother, Margie “Pete” Wallace of Cheraw, SC; brother, Frankie Wallace of Cheraw, SC; nieces, Donna Wallace and Corey Wallace both of Cheraw, SC;  and numerous extended family members and friends.

         

The family would like to extend a special thanks to hospice nurse Adaire Calcutt and the entire staff of Amedisys Hospice Care for the love and support shown to Willie and his family.
