Jimmie Edward Moffitt
<p>Jimmie Edward Moffitt, age 79, of Ferris, Texas, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020. He was born in April of 1941 in Dallas, Texas to the late William and Lillian Sarah (Parks) Moffitt. Jimmie was in the US Army, serving our country in Germany. In his early years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His children remember fun visits to the beach in Galveston. Jimmie loved having his friends over to see his junkyard, playing lottery scratch-offs and riding around in his scooter. He will be missed by all who knew him.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings; sons: Jimmie Moffittt, Jr. and Andrew Moffitt.</p> <p>He is survived by his children: Nancy and husband Gerald Matthews of Killeen, Mike and wife Malea Moffitt of Ferris, Sara and husband Dimas Briones of Palmer, Diana and husband Jesus Beza and Joe and wife Shannon Longoria; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends.</p>Obituary
