Rudy Titsworth, of Golden City, MO passed away Friday afternoon, May 29, 2020, at the age of 89. Rudy was born August 4, 1930 on the family farm in Lincoln County, KS to Ralph and Mattie Howell Titsworth. Rudy graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agricultural Education and was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. He went on to teach high school Ag Education before pursuing a career as a Manufacturer’s Representative. Rudy was active in volunteer activities involving railroad history and restoration. He loved all types of airplanes especially those from World War II. Rudy enjoyed farming, old tractors and talking to people. Rudy is survived by his wife, of the home; one sister and two children; daughter April Foos and husband Scott of Golden City, MO and son Jim Titsworth and wife Jan of Keller, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Molly Urton and husband Will, Alix Cooper and husband Austin, Mitchell Titsworth and Lauren Titsworth; one great grandchild Khloe Urton and other surviving relatives including numerous nieces and nephews. Rudy will be missed by friends, customers, and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, a niece and two nephews. Memorial donations can be made to the Golden City Fire Department in care of the funeral home. There will be a visitation from 5 PM to 7 PM followed by funeral service at Konantz Warden Funeral Home at 7 PM Thursday, June 4, 2020. Interment and a graveside service will be held at Pleasant View Methodist Church Cemetery in Beloit, KS on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 3 PM.
