<p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Gloria Hendrix</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">1948-2020</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">On the evening of Thursday, May 28, 2020 Gloria Hendrix passed away at the Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 72 years. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Gloria was a true lover of the outdoors; fishing and hunting were amongst her favourites. More recently, Gloria enjoyed the special time spent with her children and their families and the opportunity to provide even more lasting memories. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sheila (Craig) Jensen, Monique Pequin (Ralph Olson) and Roger (Julie) Pequin; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, sister Velma Turtiak and several nieces, nephews and other extended family. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">For those who so desire, memorial donations in Gloria’s name may be made directly to the Fish and Game Association, 13045 – 156 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5V 0A2. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">A tremendous “thank you” to Dr. Ryan White and Dr. Cody Thompson and all of their support staff at the hospital for the wonderful care provided to Gloria and for the compassion shown to her family. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Condolences may be sent to www.affinityfuneralservice.ca</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Arrangements in care of Joelle Valliere, Licensed Funeral Director at Affinity Funeral Service - 780.542.3338</span></p>Obituary
