Valerie P. Allen

Valerie P. Allen, 84, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in 1936, in England, a daughter to the late Ernest and Louise Dandridge Tackley. Valerie worked as telephone operator at the Telephone Exchange in Oxford, England up until the time she moved to the United States and married her husband, Myron Allen. In 1971 she became a United States citizen. Valerie enjoyed spending time gardening and social media. She was predeceased by her husband, Myron; one sister, Stella and three brothers, Arthur, Donald and Patrick. Valerie is survived by her three children, Dwanye Allen of North Carolina, Tracy (Jim) Kocik of Baldwinsville and Kerry Allen of Alaska; six grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no services and she was cremated per her request. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton, has care of arrangements.
