<p>LTC Lee Alan Plummer, USA Retired, age 78 of Alexandria passed away Thursday morning, May 28, 2020 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER.&nbsp; He was born November 6, 1942 to his parents, the late Chester Alan and Barbara Lou Greeley Plummer.&nbsp; In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step-daughter, Jennifer Lopp Pate and brother, Keith Alan Plummer.&nbsp; He was a Retired Lt. Col. with the U.S. Army with over 29 years of service, Two Star General with the Tennessee State Guard, a Mason and was a Christian. Survivors include 3 children, Janilee Plummer, Clark Alan Plummer and Nikki Lee Bottum; 2 step-daughters, Nola Elizabeth (David) Moore and Harriet Hankins Lopp; son-in-law, David Pate; 4 step-grandchildren, Emily, Samantha, Danielle and Brian; 2 brothers, Mark Alan Plummer and Tim Alan Plummer.&nbsp; <strong>Due to COVID-19, Executive Order 38 and Social Distancing Guidelines, there will be a Funeral 2:PM Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating with Full Military Honors following at the funeral home.&nbsp; Burial with a family only comital service will be held at 11:AM Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.&nbsp; Visitation will be on Tuesday 12 Noon until the time of the service at 2:PM.&nbsp; Anyone attending, Please exercise Social Distancing for the healthy and safety of everyone.</strong>&nbsp; <strong><em>The Service will be live-streamed on DeKalb Funeral Chapel Facebook page.</em></strong>&nbsp; In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Kidney Fund, in memory of Mr. Plummer.&nbsp; DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. &nbsp;</p>
