Lorraine N. Damm

<p>Miss Lorraine N. Damm, 86, formerly of Fairhaven, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020, at St. Luke&rsquo;s Hospital, in New Bedford.&nbsp; Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Lucien and Amelia (Carvalho) Damm, she lived most of her life in Fairhaven.</p> <p>Lorraine graduated from Fairhaven High School class of 1951 and went on to be a Legal Secretary for Rusitzky and Russell for over 50 years.&nbsp; She was a communicant of St. Joseph&rsquo;s Church in Fairhaven and enjoyed bowling.</p> <p>She is survived by her sisters, Germaine Damm of New Bedford and Regina Damm of Dartmouth.</p> <p>A private graveside service was held Friday, May 8, 2020, in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.&nbsp; Arrangements are by the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven. &nbsp;</p>

I am so sorry to hear of Lorraine's passing.  I am your cousin, Roger Masson from Acushnet.  My mother was Bertha Damm, your father's aunt.  My four sisters have passed.

I left the area 50 years ago, but I still remember what great tennis players all the Damm ‘girls’ were there on the Buttonwood Park tennis courts.  My condolences on the loss of your sister.
