<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Townsend &ndash; Julius A. Cribbs, 76, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in the SGHS Brunswick after a short illness.&nbsp; Born and raised in Long County he graduated from Ludowici High School in 1964.&nbsp; He lived in North Carolina many years moving to Townsend seventeen years ago and later retired from Hercules, Inc. as a field superintendent.&nbsp; An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially for bass and enjoyed riding the wooded roads on his way to the river.&nbsp; He attended Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy and was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Eula Mae Cribbs and his siblings, Donahue, John Henry, Faye and Patsy.</p> <p>Survivors are his wife of nearly fifty-six years, Judy Jones Cribbs of Townsend; daughters and sons-in-law, Terry Pope and Nathan and Christy Carter and Josh of Clinton, NC, and Tonia Bates and Donnie of Claxton; son, Robert Cribbs of Garland, NC; brothers, Ben &ldquo;Pee Wee&rdquo; Cribbs and wife Agnes of Madray Springs, Isom Cribbs of Lumber City, and Wayne Cribbs of Townsend; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Memorial services will be Saturday, May 30 at 2 PM at Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating.</p> <p>Family and friends may sign the online register at www.howardfuneralga.com</p> <p>Arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral Home of Ludowici.</p>

Townsend – Julius A.
