<p>Joy Helen Neel, 87, of Brighton, Tennessee died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at her residence in Brighton,Tennessee.</p> <p>Born Sunday, November 20, 1932, in Dyer County, Tennessee She was the daughter of the late William Arthur &quot; Dick&quot; Willis and the late Daisy B. Hallum Willis. Mrs. Neel was a cosmotolgist from the age of sixteen and owned NuLook in Dyersburg for many years. She was a lifetime member of the VFW. She had a passion for bowling, fishing and reading. She also enjoyed feeding and watching her hummingbirds, along with a love for her dogs and cats. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave her much joy and love and affectionately called her &quot;MeMaw&quot;, &quot;MinnieMaw&quot; and &quot; MamMaw&quot;.</p> <p>Private graveside services for Mrs. Neel will be held at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with John Jones officiating.</p> <p>She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Neva Jo Stafford (Eddie) of Brighton, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Dava J. Leggett (Greg) of Rosemark, Tennesse, one grandson, Eddie Neel Stafford (Krystal) of Stephenville, Texas, seven great-grandchildren, Savannah Hickman, Harley Stafford, Jody Stafford, Braden Leggett, Neelie Stafford, Emmy Stafford, Sage Stafford; two great-great-grandchildren, Reagan Hickman and Stella Hickman and two brothers, Frank Willis (Joanne) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Jerry Willis (Linda)of Dyersburg, Tennessee.</p> <p>In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Sammy J. &quot;Jim&quot; Neel; two sisters, Dorothy Seaton and Virginia &quot;Jenny&quot; Harris and two brothers, Travis &quot;Trab&quot; Willis and Jaurette WaRay &quot;Pussel&quot; Willis.</p> <p>Honoring Ms. Neel as pallbearers will be David Harper, Greg Leggett, Eddie N. Joy Helen Neel, 87, of Brighton, Tennessee died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at her residence in Brighton,Tennessee.

Born Sunday, November 20, 1932, in Dyer County, Tennessee She was the daughter of the late William Arthur " Dick" Willis and the late Daisy B. Hallum Willis.
