Eleanor Sadonna Burgin, 96, was born April 27, 1924 on a farm in Williams, Iowa.  She married Carl H. Burgin in 1941, and raised 5 children, Judy Rush, Terry (Barbara) Burgin, Dennis (Carole) Burgin, Jim Burgin (deceased), and Vicky (Monty) Habben. Eleanor had 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren.

Eleanor loved family, friends, music, dancing, snow birding in Texas, and playing games.  She was a hard-working farm wife for decades, but spent her last years living with Vicky and Monty, bringing laughter and love of live.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Murphy; her brother, Robert; her husband Carl; her son, Jim; her grandchildren, Jackie, Jeff and Greg; and a great-great granddaughter, McKinley.
