SPENCER: Emma Ruth "Ruthy" Aubin, 96, died peacefully Tuesday, May 26 in Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.     She leaves 8 sons Jack Cox of CA, Skip Grogan and his wife Danasty of Fl, Col. Herbert Grogan and his wife Paula of TN, Steven Grogan of FL, Russell Grogan and his wife Mary of Worcester, Lawrence and his wife Edie of FL,Robert Grogan of Spencer and Joseph LaFlash of CA; a daughter Kathryn Lougee and her husband Paul of Spencer; 29 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; a sister Caroline Shea of Southbridge; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons; Ronald Grogan and Paul LaFlash;a daughter Linda Grogan; two grandchildren Kristy Grogan and Michael Bigwood; two brothers Arrington and Edward Aubin; four sisters Aletha Rappaport,Doris.Harriet and Martha.    Ruthy was born in Worcester the daughter of Edmond and Caroline Aubin. She grew up in Charlton before moving to Worcester where she raised her 12 children and then later in life moved to Spencer.  She was a longtime CNA and retired from Worcester State Hospital.  She was a very proud Blue Star Mother of eight son's and two grandsons, who all served in the United States Armed Forces.  Ruthy enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and spending time with her family.     Due to health restrictions, a celebration of Ruthy's life will be held when it is safe to do so.
