Mary Lou Smith Talbert Dunn, 81, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away May 25, 2020. She was born September 25, 1938, in Tulip, Arkansas, to Lemuel Pryor and Allie Mae Smith. Mary Lou was the youngest of nine siblings. She was a member of Glazier Peau Missionary Baptist Church. Mary Lou was an incredible cook and mother to more than just her three girls. Her love and support through all her years of church service was memorable and life changing to many. Her four grandsons were her pride and joy. In later years she spent countless hours watching hummers, woodpeckers, and chippers from her favorite chair in the sunroom. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas David Talbert; son-in-law, Glenn Day; and siblings, Martin Smith, Howard Smith, Rose McDaniel, Tommy Smith, Phelton Smith, Judy Dykes, John Smith, and Carroll Smith. She is survived by husband, Joel Dunn; daughters, Paula Day, Pam McCauley (Mark), Penny Talbert (Alecia); grandsons, Josef Forrester, Keith Forrester (Megan), Kyle Forrester (Emily), David McCauley; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth Village Funeral Home. The visitation will be limited to 50 guests at a time, social distancing will be practiced, and masks will be required for everyone attending, excluding children under 10. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Tulip Cemetery in Tulip, Arkansas. Pallbearers include grandsons: Josef, Keith, and Kyle Forrester, David McCauley; and nephews: Jerry Dykes and Robert Smith.
