Leroy Manuel Martinez, 67, from Bloomfield, NM passed on May 24, 2020 in Farmington, NM. He completed 10th grade at Aztec High school and went on to become a Gold Gloves Boxing champion in 1969 and 1970. Leroy was a loving father, grandpa, great grandpa, and friend. He worked construction and pipeline for the majority of his life for various companies throughout the area. Leroy's hobbies were fishing, golf, shooting, and spending time with family and friends. Leroy touched a lot of people's lives; everyone who knew him, loved him. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo Martinez and Ursulita Gomez; his brothers, Orlando, Herman, Johnny, and Ronaldo Martinez; his sister, Mary Jane. He is survived by his sons, Manuel (Janet) and Michael Martinez; his brothers Leonard (Diane) and Herman Martinez; his sisters, Mary Garcia, Joseline (Anthony) Barry, Lina (Octovio) Mingura; grandchildren, James (Shaycie), Darius (Karlie), and great grandchildren, Kaezleigh and Layla.

There will be a wake on May 30, 2020 at 4pm through May 31, 2020 at 12pm. There is a rosary scheduled for 7pm on May 30, 2020. Wake and Rosary will occur at #41 Rd 5591, Farmington, NM. A public viewing is also scheduled for June 1, 2020 from 12-2pm at Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington, 404 W Arrington.
