Darla Hussong
Darla Raylene Hussong, age 56, of Joplin, passed away on Sunday May 24, 2020, at Freeman Hospital, following an illness. Darla was born on February 1, 1964 in Chanute, KS, the daughter of Melvin Bresee and Donna (Weese) Bresee. She has been a lifetime area resident. She married Tony A. Hussong on April 9, 1982 and together they raised five children. She worked for B. G. Maintenance, and for the past fifteen years has been a stay at home wife and grandmother. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and camping. She is survived by her husband, Tony Hussong, Joplin; one daughter, Charlotte Hussong and fiancé Joey Pierce, Joplin; four sons, Brice and James Bresee, both of Joplin, Kyle Hussong and wife Nancy, Joplin, and Destin Hussong and wife Chelsea, Joplin; her father, Melvin Bresee, Joplin; three brothers, Barney, Mark, and Darrin Bresee; three sisters, Debbie Burkholder, Sharon Bresee, and Susan Sergeant; and eleven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Bresee; and one brother, Raymond Bresee. A Memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.February 1, 1964 - May 26, 202002/01/196405/26/2020
