<p>a longtime resident of Wakefield died peacefully on May 22, 2020 at Elderwood of Scallop Shell in Wakefield, RI. Born on December 15, 1927 in Newton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Bertha (Hanrahan) Harson and Chester Harson. She was the wife of the late James E. Sheehan, and predeceased by her brother, Anthony Harson, and sisters, Alice Sheahan, Elizabeth Foran, Natalie Urban and Constance Hayes. Beverly is survived by her children Leslie Smith of Wilmot, NH, Stephanie Price of Richmond, James Sheehan of Wakefield, and Natalie Parker of Narragansett. She leaves four grandchildren, Jennifer Stuart of Wilmot, NH, Johannah LaFountain of Hope Valley, and Emily Ornstein of Washington, DC and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Beverly was a Registered Nurse, she graduated from Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing. She had a passion for caring for the sick, and worked in South County Hospital Emergency Department for over 20 years. Bev was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Wakefield where she taught religious education classes for several years. She was an avid knitter, reader and crossword enthusiast and enjoyed traveling the world with her children. Beverly will be laid to rest beside her husband in a private ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery Exeter, RI.</p>
