William Earl Bowen
William Earl Bowen, 78, of Grant, passed away on May 25, 2020 in Grant, Michigan. He was born on May 20, 1942 to Earl and Irene (Dunn) Bowen in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Rockford High School in 1960. He served in the Navy from August 31, 1961 to September 2, 1965 when he was honorably discharged as a BT3 (E-4). On July 21, 1968 he married Joanne Robinson in Sparta. William worked at and retired from the Sparta Foundry. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. William is survived by his wife Joanne, two sons: Michael (Deb) Bowen of Howard City, Wayne Bowen of Hillsboro, TN; daughter Tammy Bowen of Grant; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
