Jeanne Marie Kestner, age 94, of Fayetteville, died Friday, March 10, 2017, in Fayetteville. She was born January 30, 1923, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Claude C. Childress and Edna Dicks Childress. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Lyle Childress and James Childress and one daughter Sue Colleen Kestner. Jeanne retired from Affiliated Foods in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. Jeanne is survived by one daughter, Joan Kestner Soth; five sons, Rodney Kestner (Caroline) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Gary Kestner (Sandy) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Kenneth Kestner (Mary) of Lakeview, Oregon; Bobby Kestner (Jennifer) of Little Rock, Arkansas; Keith Kestner (Maureen) of Van Buren, Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Troy Kestner, Christopher Kestner, Kevin Kestner, Brent Kestner, Aaron Kestner, Caleb Kestner, Bailey Kestner, Joseph Kestner, and eleven great- grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers and three sisters. A graveside service will be held at the Ball Cemetery in Childers, Oklahoma, at a later date.
