Bartholomew, Gilda M., "Jill", 61 on May 23, 2020 was peacefully reunited with her mother Gilda and brother Bobby.  Jill was born in Newark, NJ before moving to Edison, NJ.   Jill's love for children and passion for sports led her to become the Director and Basketball Coach of an after school program in So. Orange, NJ.  She had an amazing love and talent for cooking and serving people as a waitress for many years. There was always room for one more at the table and all were guaranteed a gourmet meal every time. 
Jill is survived by her loving daughter Jessica Bartholomew-Sanchez, life partner Elaine Nemezio, sister Catherine Bartholomew, two granddaughters Lucianna and Alivia and many nieces, nephews and family members whom she adored.  Jill may be gone from our sight but never our hearts.  
Private services will be held at Gosselin Funeral Home in Edison, NJ and Jill will be laid to rest at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for the future at St John Vianney Colonia, NJ.  Date and time will be announced at a later
