Joseph D. Pulice

JOSEPH D. PULICE, 93, of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday May 23, 2020 at The Wyngate Senior Living Community, Weirton, WV. He was born June 14, 1926 in Weirton, son of the late Frank and Pasline Rotell Pulice. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Ilse U. Kuehle Pulice (2016); brothers, John, Dominic and Robert Pulice. Joseph was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, a U.S. Army, WWII Veteran, and retired from the Strip Steel Dept. of Weirton Steel Corporation where he was a member of the 25 Year Club. He is survived by brother, William Pulice; sister, Frances Dankovchik (Robert); cousins, Mary Ann DiFonzo and Angela Mazur; and dear friend, Arletta Salko, all of Weirton. Visitation will be Tuesday May 26, 2020 from 9:30am to 10:30am at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 229 California Avenue, Weirton, WV with Reverend Fr. Tony Thurston presiding. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. www.steelandwolfe.com

I worked with Joe's wife at Krogers for many years and enjoyed seeing the two of them shopping together after Ilse had retired. I enjoyed hearing about their latest cruise and Joe's jokes. I'm sure he is glad to be back together with his beloved wife. May he rest in ... Continue Reading
