Mr. Richard Carlton "RC" Bandy departed this life on May 22, 2020. He was born February 22, 1937 to the late Carlton and Mary Williams Bandy.

Richard was preceded in death by his brothers, Julius, Roger, Melvin and John Bandy. His sister Leola Lawrence also preceded him in death.
Richard attended George W. Carver High School. He later worked for Huntington Ingalls (Newport News Shipyard) for many years until he retired.

Richard was baptized at an early age at Second Baptist Church, East End. He will be missed by his wife and best friend, Edna Bandy, daughters Terri Snead, Sherry Talton, Michelle Bey, Loleane Henie, Melodie Bandy and his son Percy Henie. Also left to cherish his memory, his sister Daisey Hundley, one aunt Helen Bandy, three sister-in-laws Bernetta, Alberta and Carolyn Bandy, nine grandchildren, four great- grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rest in Peace "RC" you will be greatly missed.
