<p><b>Ms. Mary D. Bethea</b> entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at her home. Funeral Service for Mary will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020. Funeral Service were held at 1:00pm at Resthaven Cemetery, 34 Haymount Road, Latta, South Carolina 29565.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>OBITUARY</strong></p> <p><strong>Mary Deloris Bethea</strong> daughter of the late Margaret Johnson McCall and Hector Bethea, was born on July 19, 1963 in Dillon, S.C. and departed this life on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.</p> <p><strong>Mary</strong> attended the Dillon Public Schools and was a 1982 graduate of Dillon High School. Mary was employed by Dillon School District Four for 17 &frac12; years as a kindergarten assistant. Mary loved her job and was an excellent in her position.</p> <p><strong>Mary</strong> was a person who loved the Lord and kept the faith. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her family. Mary loved people and was always willing to help others in anyway that she could. Mary was a faithful member of Minturn Grove Baptist Church where she attended until her death.</p> <p><strong>Mary</strong> leaves to cherish fond memories her sons: Craven Montrice Bethea of the home, Justin/Devona Bethea of Dillon, S.C., and Carl Michael /Kewanda Bethea of San Diego, California, seven sisters: Margie Paige of Dillon, S.C., Deloris Lloyd of Brooklyn, N.Y., Doris/Marvin James of Latta, S.C., Retha Lloyd Curry, Mary Lloyd and Mary Alice Bethea all of Dillon, S.C., and Eloise Bethea of Bronx, N.Y., six brothers Curtis Lloyd of Brooklyn, N.Y., Willie/Daisy Lloyd of Dillon, S.C., Ronnie/Cheri Lloyd of Charlotte, N.C., Lucius Bethea, and Lynn Bethea both of Dillon, S.C. and Hector Jr. Bethea of Brooklyn, N.Y., three aunts: Eva McInnis, and&nbsp; Pearlie Gilchrist both of Dillon, S.C. and Dessea/Monroe Easter of Virginia, two uncles: John Wallace and Willie McLaurin of Dillon, S.C., six grandchildren: Ta&rsquo;necia Jones, Ja&rsquo;Zamine Bethea, Nylah Washington, Carl Michael Bethea, Jr., Ja&rsquo;Miyah Bethea and Karli Bethea, four nieces whom she took as her daughter, Shemeka Moye, Felicia Tyson, Jamecia Smith and Cora Evans and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends whom she loved.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
