Jennifer Lee Feeney Obituary

Jennifer Lee Feeney, 48, of Waterford gave her life to the Lord surrounded by family on May 22, 2020 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital after a short battle with kidney and liver disease. Jennifer was born on February 17, 1972 in Norwich the daughter of the late Candace J. (Couture) Goss and Paul L Duff. The step-daughter of David Goss of Preston. She was a hairdresser for Cost Cutters in Norwich for many years and then worked in the hospitality industry more recently. Jennifer was the life of the party. She had a contagious laugh, beautiful smile, incredible spirit and lit up every room she walked into. Jennifer loved to sing karaoke, dance and spend time with her family and friends. On her days off she could be found lounging at the beach soaking in the rays in Florida. She loved to be outdoors and enjoyed hiking and camping with her friends. She had an incredible love for animals and was a kind and gracious soul. Jennifer loved to knit blankets for her niece and nephew. She loved with her whole heart and entire being and enjoyed spending as much time with her family as she could. Jennifer loved to facetime/skype with her family every chance she got and play cards with her Dad and Brian. She was a country girl at heart. Our hearts are broken and will forever have a void of a life taken too soon. She was predeceased by her Mother Candace Jane (Couture), Grandparents Ernest and Mary Jane Couture, Floyd and Dorothy Alice Duff and her step-father William Francis Welton. Jennifer is survived by her father Paul L. Duff, her brother Jason Welton and wife Lynn of Georgia, her sister Jillian Lichner and husband Brant of Texas, her niece Alexandria and nephew Braeden. She is also survived by her love Brian Fowle. Jennifer is also survived by her cousin and forever friend Michelle Labbe, her nieces Pamela and Nicole Caspoli and her step-father David Goss of Preston. Jennifer has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that will miss her dearly at all their family gatherings. Jennifer was like an Aunt to all of her second cousins. She will be missed by her longtime childhood friend Denise Samborski. There will be a private memorial at the discretion of the family at a later date.
