<p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Rose M. Snook, 88, of 671 Lamey Rd., Millmont, since 1967, entered into rest at 1:08 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">She was born July 17, 1931, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Jacob Nelson and Tressie Mae (Yorks) Knittle.&nbsp; On July 1, 1947, in Mifflinburg, she married Joseph E. Snook, who preceded her in death June 2, 2010.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Rose attended the Hartley Township schools.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">She was employed at Huntington Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, Yorktowne, Mifflinburg, Northway Industries, Middleburg, and Brynwood, Lewisburg.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Joseph, Jr. and Sharon Snook of Bellevue, Nebraska, Dennis and Ginny Snook of Millmont, and Lawrence Snook and his friend Fran of Allenwood; 9 grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Perry, Kelly, and Lee Snook, Laurie Troester, Sara Reedy, Michelle Agueros, and Aaron Rhone; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and several in-laws.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">She was preceded in death by four brothers, Stanley B., Carl C., Daniel G. Knittle and also William, who died in infancy;&nbsp;three sisters, Ferne Barnett, and also Linda and Hazel, who died in infancy; and one daughter-in-law Mary Jane Snook.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, May 30, 2020, at noon, at the Lincoln Chapel Cemetery, Laurelton, with Rev. Wayne Krell, officiating.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.</span></strong></p>
