Gloria Allen, 80, of Knox, passed away peacefully at 5:40 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2020 at Golden Living Center Fountainview Terrace, La Porte. She was born December 3, 1939, in Knox, Indiana, to Henry and Lavina (Coonfare) Byer. Gloria was a former member of the Kingdom Hall that formerly was in Knox, Indiana. She enjoyed computer games and traveling to see family. Gloria cared about other people deeply. She was a caretaker for her aunt and cousin. Surviving are her daughter, Aleeta (Steve) Trost of El Paso, Texas; one brother, Lawrence Byer of Knox; two grandchildren, Adam (Heather) Densmore of Costa Mesa, California and Keli Trost of El Paso, Texas.
