<p>Beatrice Atkinson Johnson, 85, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020. She was born in Chesterfield County, SC, daughter of the late Coyt and Myrtle Brown Atkinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Johnson; her son, Van Mitchell Johnson; and a number of siblings.<br /> <br /> She is survived by her children, Mack Neil Johnson (Pat Jackson), Ann Bradshaw (Mike), Thomas William Johnson (Carol); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a great great-grandchild; and a number of siblings.<br /> <br /> A graveside service, to celebrate her life, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Forest Lawn Cemetery West, Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.<br /> <br /> Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Lincoln County, 900 Donita Dr., Lincolnton, NC 28092.<br /> <br /> Condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org.
