Marilyn Dawn Rodgers passed away on May 22, 2020 at the age of 65 years old. She was born in Oklahoma City on September 26, 1954 to Virgil Edgar & Lucille (Humphrey) George. She was a graduate of Moore High School, participating in band & choir. She won beauty pageants, including the Moore Junior Miss pageant. Marilyn married her high school sweetheart, Marvin Dale Rodgers & together they celebrated many happy years of marriage. She was a loving wife & mother & her grandchildren were her pride & joy. One of Marilyn’s favorite things to do was capture memories of her family through pictures & videos. Marilyn will be deeply missed. She leaves cherished memories with her loving husband of 47 years, Marvin; children: Matthew, Mason & Drew, along with their wives, Kendra, Kara & Ashlee; grandchildren: Sophie, Adleigh, Maddox, Wilson, Liam & Mitchell, sisters Lawanda Bell & Sonja Shockley, numerous other family & friends. Throughout her life, she was very involved in her church, serving in the children’s ministry for many years. She also loved to sing & play the piano. She possessed a kind & beautiful spirit & will leave a tremendous void in the lives of her family & friends whose lives she touched.
