<p>Jimmie Leon &ldquo;Jim&rdquo; Casey, 74, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away May 22, 2020 at Hospital District #1 of Rice County, Lyons. He was born December 2, 1945 in Chase, Kansas, the son of Elmer and Betty Ogden Casey. Jim graduated Washington High School, Kansas City, Kansas with the class of 1965. He was a lifelong Rice County resident. Jim was an oilfield worker having worked for Great Bend Well Service. He was a member of Liar&rsquo;s Fishing Club, Lyons. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, fur trapping, and gardening. On July 27, 1983, Jim was united in marriage with Susan Michele Lucas in Pueblo, Colorado. She preceded him in death on October 5, 2019. He is also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Casey; and two sisters, Marquita Chism and Pam Capps. Jim is survived by his three sons, Scott Casey, Jerry Weaver and wife Kathy, and Don Weaver and wife Frances; two daughters, Missie Casey and Tina Maas and husband Tony; brother, Ronald Casey and wife Lana of Gardner, KS; numerous grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Lyons Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Kendal Connor officiating.&nbsp; Memorials may be given to Hospice of Reno County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.</p>
