Caurtha Lee Reed

Caurtha Lee Reed, 90 of Van Buren passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Reed; her parents, A.C. and Rose (Colson) Cohea; two sisters, Mavis Watkins, Melva Easter; one brother, C.N. Cohea. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 Roland Pentecostal Church in Roland, Oklahoma with a family private burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Reed and wife, Kathy of Roland, Oklahoma, Bruce Reed of Seymour, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, , Christal Gilmore and husband, Cody of Alma, Alex Reed and wife, Victoria of Twinsburg, Ohio, Dr. Meagan Reed of Roseville, Minnesota, Jack Reed of Shakopee, Minnesota, Amanda Howard and husband, Skip of Van Buren, Shelly Keith and husband, Steven of Roland, Oklahoma and Shalisa Edwards and husband, Brian of Muldrow, Oklahoma; twelve great grandchildren. Family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, May 24, 2020 from 2 to 4 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
